Day 1: Ouarzazate → Skoura (Amridil Castle) → Rose Valley → Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara → Overnight in luxury
We pick you up from your accommodation in Ouarzazate or from the airport in the morning. Then we explore the city of Ouarzazate. Visit Atlas Studios, a famous film location, and visit Taourit Castle. Then head southeast to visit the palm-lined Amridil Kasbah around Skoura. Then we continue towards the Rose Valley. At the Rose Festival held every May, local people enjoy many rose products, from perfume to rose water, from essential oils to cosmetics. We will drive through Dades Valley and stop at a lookout to enjoy the beauty of Dades Valley. We will then continue towards the Todra Pass, where the Todra River opens a large gorge into the mountains, creating a valley of red cliffs. Free time for lunch. Feel free to take a walk in the forest and enjoy the beautiful view.
We arrived in the Sahara Desert, Merzouga, in the afternoon. There you turn into a camel crossing the desert. You should stand on the high dune to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Day 2: Discover region Merzouga , Nomads , Khamlia , lake Merzouga , Erg Chebbi and palm grove
You should wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sun of the desert. Free time for breakfast. You then take your camel back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting. We spent a day exploring the Merzouga area. There are many amazing places in the region, from sand dunes to wild lakes, mines, fossil fields and magnificent oases. This is the perfect place for many outdoor activities.
