Morocco 3 Days from errachidia
Day 1 : Arrival to Errachidia , Merzouga
On your first day to the desert and Marrakech, you will be picked up from Erachidia Airport. Then head south towards the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
Day 2 : Explore region Merzouga , Nomads , Khamlia the Gnaoua village , lake Merzouga , Erg Chebbi and palm grove
After breakfast, we spent the day exploring the Merzouga region. There are many amazing places in the region, from sand dunes to wild lakes, mines, fossil fields and magnificent oases. This is the perfect place for many outdoor activities.
We will first start our journey in Merzouz by going off-road and visiting an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we visit the nomads in their hand-woven tent. Learn how they live while drinking Berber tea. Our next destination is the village of Khamlia where you will enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances. Its inhabitants come from sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch at the restaurant. After that, we will go for a walk in the palm grove. Then drive a few kilometers to see the wild Lake Merzouga, also called the Flamingo Lake.
In the afternoon, you will transfer to camels and cross the sandy desert with a stop at the top of a high dune to enjoy the sunset before continuing to a luxury campsite. You can enjoy the music of Berber drums while dancing by the campfire under the vast sky of stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 2: Sahara Merzouga , Gorges Todra , Erfoud ,Roses Valley and Palm Groves of Skoura , ouarzazatw Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and High Atlas Mountains and Marrakech
Waking up early is a must to contemplate the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast before returning by camel to Merzouga where your driver will be waiting. We then leave the desert and drive west through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorge. The flow of the Todra River created a large canyon through the mountains - It created a tall red canyon on the side of a cliff. Then we drive along various Kasbahs and palm groves to Ouarzazate, free time for lunch.
We then continue to Marrakesh by driving through the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a walled village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, Kasbah has appeared in more than 10 movies including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, etc. and TV series including Game of Thrones. Finally, we drive through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakesh. We will then take you to the airport or your accommodation. End of the desert trip
